Mine doesn't crumble at all so you may have needed to send that back because it doesn't sound like Max factor at all or you got a bad batch. Colors are true to what I always use to buy and found online too until Wal-mart.com finally got them here and this is my third order!! First of all the colors were too difficult to choose from the site. The color I did get was awful. It was like a greyish pink. It crumbled while trying to apply.
