The Isosteel Vacuum Food Container VA-9683 is an advancement of the good old 'lunch pail' made of sheet metal or enamel the miners used. But this modern container keeps the food warm for hours when you're on the go. It's made of double-walled 18/8 stainless steel and has a space-saving sliding handle for transport. The meal can be placed directly into the container， which has a capacity of about 51 fl. oz/1.5 liters， or in portions in the 3 plastic containers that are suitable for microwave. The plastic lid has a valve through which hot steam can be vented before opening the container. Both stainless steel and plastic containers are dishwasher proof.
