It's a breeze to just slide this stick on my face/chest. Much quicker than rubbing in lotion and much more environmentally friendly than an aerosol. *Environmentally friendly (see above)... except for generating some plastic trash but it's an improvement. *Doesn't make a bluish cast on my skin like some sunscreens do (I am very fair). Just looks slightly moist, which I find acceptable. * It works. I apply this automatically each morning, first thing, and re-apply if I will be outdoors during the afternoon. And I don't get sunburns when I remember to re-apply. *Attractive price. I fell in love with Neutrogena's sunscreen stick and had a little thrill when I found this store-brand at half the cost. *Non-liquid carry-on friendly. Hooray for that! CONS: The fragrance. Ugh. So annoying, and it is literally on surrounding my nose. I still buy Neutrogena's product because it doesn't have this scent. I am trying to get used to Equate's produce because of the low price but this might be a deal-breaker for me. Bleh. It's not too greasy, it's quick and easy to apply, it's not messy, and it does not run into their eyes! It even smells nice! I used this on my girls last week at an amusement park (reapplied once) and they did not get any color at all. My husband said he didn't need any but his face was burned by the end of the day (lesson learned!) I use the Neutrogena DryTouch for my face since it's the most matte sunscreen I've found, but this product is a lifesaver for my kids. I also put this on them every morning since they are outside at school around lunchtime. This stuff works!! It is great for kids - not messy and easy application. My only complaint is it does melt a bit in the sun (which makes the product easier to apply) and by the end of the trip, the sunscreen turned rather lumpy (likely from the heat). I have to say, I made a great choice. The sunscreen stick goes on clear and it keep my face and ears and used sunscreen lotion on body and spray on back and I didn't get any sunburn.
