Who doesn't love the chase scene with the speeder bikes? Much bigger than it appears online, this set looks incredible on display and feels like a mini UCS build - with some complex technic building and a UCS style stand. The Scout trooper is a standard buildable figure, and Lego fans who have built these figures before will know exactly what to expect. But he looks extra cool when perched on the speeder bike with his feet and hands clicked into place. As a technic rather than a normal Lego set, this is a trickier build than it looks and kids would need some help from their parent or older sibling. The inner core reminded me of the Slave 1 ship. There are a few stickers but they are easy ones and no big deal. I'm a collector of Star Wars Legos and I have several of the very small speeder bikes (mini fig size) that came with sets like the Ewok village. The speeder bike has always been one of my favorite SW vehicles and the chase scene in Jedi is an all time movie fave. This set intrigued me...I don't have any of the larger Lego figurines and was curious what they would be like. Building the set was more of a challenge than I thought. I had to really study the instructions a couple times to figure out the assembly but it all came together well. Overall this is an excellent set! The scout trooper is wonderfully detailed and very poseable and the bike has a wonderful amount of detail and it's a great design. I would almost say it's near ultimate collectors set type detail and looks great next to my other large sets. I'm really glad the packaged the troop with the bike and didn't just do the bike by itself.
