About us
We are a small team consisting of three in-house models, there's Cookie, the resident plus-size model, a miniature Dashchund. Max, a Cross-breed Dashchund at 7kg and Rei, a Cat who is partially paralyzed from waist down but still lives on through the undying commitment of her owner.
Here's a few clips we have done, and we hope to share with you their journey.
Cookie's Journey - A Vovage to Singapore in October 2013
Cookie grew up overseas and arrived in Singapore in Oct 2013 with her owner, a "overseas returnee" after staying abroad for 5 years. The journey started in early 2013, with preparation of paper work, for exit clearance, to reservation of a quarantine space with AVA. Unfortunately, during Day 10 of the mandatory AVA Quarantine at Sembawang upon her arrival in Singapore, she had a slip disk and was immobile. What followed was a major slip disk surgery and a period of recovery. To date, she's recovering slowly but surely.
"K9talk And Catnap's Model - Max the Cross-Breed Gentleman
Max is 7 years old as of 2014. He's a cross-breed miniature Dashchund who works part-time entertaining school children during his spare time. Job task includes dressing up in a costume for Halloween to "scare" the kids. Unfortunately, none of the kids found him scary, but he was funny to the bone and was awarded the "best-dress" Halloween costumer winner. Loves swimming at the beach and is always a gentleman, allowing his play mate to bully him yet seek forgiveness even though he knew he's right.
K9talk And Catnap's Model - Rei
Rei was adopted about 3 years ago from a local Cat Welfare Society. She was a pretty ugly kitten with pointy oversized ears and a skinny face. But she grew into a young adult cat, playful and funny with a constant companion, Max, as her playmate. Unfortunately, about 8 months back, while her owner was away in Taiwan on a overseas trip, she had fallen down from the block 6th storey high and was found by a concerned kind neighbour in a drain downstairs. The owner rushed back from overseas to attend to her injured cat. The vet reported that a surgery was not necessary as Rei had broken her spine and suggested not so kindly to put her to sleep. Her owner was not convinced it should end this way and did not give up. It was with her sheer determination and consistent loving care, that nursed Rei back and she's living well now coping with her immobility. She is half paralyzed from waist down but she gets by daily by sliding around the house. And yes, the windows would no longer be accessible to her as she is mainly confined to the ground now.
