After working with the Pharmacology Laboratory of Taisho Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Suntory Ltd.’s Basic Research Institute and Product Development Institute, Dr. Hosoda was appointed Professor in Wellness Studies at Kwassui Women’s University (Nagasaki).

During this time, Dr. Hosoda’s research demonstrated such mechanisms as the anti-atherosclerotic effect of red wine, and the fat metabolism accentuation effect and inhibitory effect on fat absorption of Oolong tea, etc. Dr. Hosoda also invented Suntory's "Black Oolong Tea”, conducting commercialization research aimed at designation as a special health food.

Dr. Hosokawa is currently the President of Ad’all, Ltd.
