It listed the lamp as 12" high and the shade as 7" high. Turns out the total height is 12". Also shade is really cheap and the white lamp comes with a black cord! These lamps fit perfectly into my room! One lamp will do the trick for a room but for extra brightness two is more than you need for a room.
