Notice the flat plate (no pointy ends to pierce the fish) with jaws that easily open wide to nearly 1 inch (23mm) so you do not harm the fish lips or mouth. There is no need for pliers, or anything else to help hold the fish while removing a hook or measuring it or taking photos. Instead use The Gripper.

Consider it your insurance against losing a fish. After all, using a fish lip grip you could save money and time with fewer lost fish and less skin damage and cuts. You can now avoid the awful possibility of talking about the one that got away because you could not keep a hold of it with your fingers.

These marine grade aluminum alloy grippers should last a lifetime, unlike inferior grades of stainless steel that are commonly used with cheap fishing gear.

At only 3.5 ounces (100 grams), these are so light you can take them backpacking or throw them in the kayak without feeling extra weight - courtesy of the alloy and the hollowed out center. Ideal for the Hobie too.

Measuring 6.5 inches, the compact shape sits comfortably in the hand. Serrated grip edges guarantee non-slip maneuverability. The trigger is smooth and light to operate, even the kids could manage it.

At 33lbs (15kg) weight capacity, these are great for handling fresh and salt water fish like crappie, trout, steelhead, walleye, carp and salmon.

Designed and tested by fishing experts to help anglers enjoy hassle-free angling expeditions. No need to worry about losing it, because while it does not float like plastic, the quality carabiner and coiled flexible lanyard keep it secured at the attachment point.
