Product Description
The herbs in Tummy Tea provide quick relief of colic, reflux and other digestive complaints including indigestion, nausea, heartburn and gas. Tummy Tea is not recommended for pregnant women.

Tummy Tea is a combination of extremely effective herbs that usually brings immediate relief. For colicky babies, it is best for the nursing mother to drink the tea, which will then pass to the baby through the breastmilk. Never give hot tea or straight tincture directly to a baby. If the baby is in great distress, it is possible to give doses of cooled diluted tea directly to the baby. The recommended amount is 1/2 teaspoon of tea diluted in a teaspoon of water, given every 10-15 minutes until discomfort eases. For everyone else (including breastfeeding mothers), the recommended amount is 1 cup of tea three times a day or as needed.

Herbs in Tummy Tea:

Organic Anise Seed: Has been used for centuries to help improve digestion and alleviating nausea, gas pains, intestinal spasms and bloating. It has also been used to help relieve colic in children.

Organic Fennel Seed: Like anise seed, fennel seed benefits include relieving gas, indigestion and intestinal spasms and cramping. Diluted fennel tea is also helpful for colicky babies.

Organic Dill Weed Seed: Helps relax your stomach muscles and soothes your stomach helping to relieve heartburn and indigestion.

Organic Catnip: Is known for it's ability to ease constipation, reduce excess gas and flatulence, and relaxing stomach/intestinal cramping, and bloating.

Organic Chamomile: In addition to it's nerve soothing properties, Chamomile also relieves gas and heartburn by soothing the digestive tract.

Note: Tummy tea is safe for breastfeeding mothers, but is not recommended for women who are pregnant due to the very slight uterine stimulating effects effect of that some of the herbs can have.
