For Pre-waterproof testing, we recommend customer to do as follow to achieve an accurate testing result:
1. Ensure all tabs and covers are sealed and secured then placed the top cover
2. Make sure the rubber lining along the side/edge of the top cover so it is completely aligned with the back of the case
3. Then submerge the case(for testing without the phone) in 6 inches of water for 5 minutes. Place a heavy object to prevent the case from floating. After 5 minutes, inspect the case for water moisture.

Notes: Proper installation of a Tethys product is important to successful use so please review the installation video and check the user manual to ensure correct pre-waterproof test! Remove any currently installed screen protector on your phone before installation. For the TouchID/fingerprint film does not operate properly, this is because the fingerprint film has built-up with debris after a period time of usage. There is a simple solution to remedies the situation is to clean it with the fresh water and a microfiber cloth. Simply remove the top cover and lay on a flat surface, then gently wipe away dirt from both side and let it dry naturally.
