I gave one to the grandmother and one to the mom. I added extra charms .. The mom and the grandma charm plus the charms of the moms other children and the charms of the grandchildren of the grandmother. I am extremely satisfied with them. They are beautiful and easy to get charms on and off. The length is exactly right for adults.
