Push the wire through the daisy so it sticks out the front a little. It helps to lay the petal on a soft surface like a towel or on the edge of a table. We used to use a plastic axle that was easier to install but was the weak point of the product. The new metal axle is a little harder to install but works great and lasts a long time.
