The pieces are big and perfect for small hands and too large to fit in her mouth like the sets for older children. There are only 40 total pieces in this set so I also bought the Mega Bloks 80 piece set of building blocks so that she has more options when building. The cozy cottage set can be assembled many different ways so she never gets bored. It also comes with a blok buddy figure and a kitty cat so she can really use her imagination when playing.
