Sky Lantern, also known as Kongming lantern or Chinese lantern, is a small hot air balloon made of paper, with an opening at the bottom where a small fire is suspended.

In Asia and elsewhere around the world, sky lanterns have been traditionally made for centuries, to be launched for play or as part of long-established festivities. The name sky lantern is a translation of the Chinese name (天燈, 天灯).

Around the years, using sky lanterns has advanced and it was quickly noticed as being a component of the lots of festivals, specifically in Thailand and China. The lanterns also grew to become symbolic with the release of their worries and burdens although for several, they served as instruments for sending their wishes towards the spirits in heaven.

For couples, sky lantern also represents long lasting love, blissful.

Sky Lanterns should be launched in a clear open space free from obstructions, i.e. trees, high-rise buildings, heavy traffic roads, beyond 5km from aircraft landing space or airports. Keep away from sites with flammable gases and liquids.
