Product Description
Digestine contains a broad spectrum of digestive enzymes. Each tablet contains: Pancreatin (140 mg of porcine (contains 3600 USP amylase units, 630 USP lipase units and 3800 USP protease units)), mycozyme (150 mg, an amylase enzyme isolate from fungi), pepsin (70 mg), betaine HCl (70 mg), pancreatine (70 mg, contains 420,000 USP papain units), and iron ox bile (65 mg bovine). The pancreatin is enteric coated for release in the small intestine (that will not release with pH below 6.8) thereby preventing denaturation of the active enzyme. In other words, we have coated the pancreatin so that it will not dissolve until it gets into the small intestine. Digestine is available in bottles of 100 tablets.
