Overview:

 

The E-M5 Mark II is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera featuring a 16MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic VII image processor to realize clear image quality, high sensitivity to ISO 25600, and fast performance to avail shooting at up to 10 fps as well as Full HD 1080p video recording at up to 60 fps.

Balancing the imaging capabilities is an apt sensor-shift-type 5-axis VCM image stabilization system that compensates for a range of camera movements to better ensure sharp imagery when shooting handheld. The sleek, DSLR-inspired form factor is characterized by both a high-resolution 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder as well as swiveling 3.0" 1.037m-dot rear touchscreen monitor, and built-in Wi-Fi permits wireless image sharing and remote camera control via a linked smartphone or tablet.

Additionally, the body is also weather-sealed for use in trying conditions.


Included with the camera body is the M.Zuiko ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II lens, which provides an 28-300mm equivalent focal length range. One double-sided aspherical element, one aspherical ED element, one extra-low dispersion element, and three high refractive index elements have been incorporated into the lens' design to help reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range and also contribute to high image sharpness and clarity. The lens is designated as MSC (Movie & Still Compatible), making it ideal for video recording due to its quick and near-silent focusing performance.
