One would not fly at all. Contacted the company numerous times via emails and phones only to get robo response that they were too busy to take my calls. They were so excited when they opened the box and saw that it was a battle drone set; they each got individual camera drones for presents as well but have been playing with these the most since they can fly and actually battle them together. They're very durable and both drones have survived several battles between them, which I like because boys will be boys which includes flying into stuff and crashing which usually ends up with a result of a broken and unusable toy. They come with their own chargers but are ready to fly right out of the box (if you remember batteries for controllers), which I also liked as boys rarely want to want that long for anything to charge in order to be able to use it. They also came with extra propellers and another rechargeable drone battery each. A feature they have that I think is neat is the actual battle features it has, after so many hits the drone will shut itself off and land indicating defeat thereby proving who actually hit the target so many times and won the battle which is great if you've ever had to referee and decide who won between boys. It's got a good, long range for controlling it as it flies, does tricks as well with flips and turns plus if their friends happen to get this kind they can battle multiple drones together; I'm considering getting another set (they come individually too) for that reason as my boys have cousins and friends that come over to play. And since I can understand and operate them, I consider them to be user friendly not to mention just plain fun to play with.
