I have the pink one for my daughter. The giraffe is soft and huggable, the music is soothing and pretty. I love that it can easily be put on without a turning piece or a pull string. Also, it can be turned off easily if you want it off before it automatically goes off. It is so simple to use that my one year old can turn it on or off whenever she pleases. It is exactly what I was looking for, but was even better once I got home with it. I bought the giraffe for another grandchild, and it is not made as well. The speaker is on the bottom, so you can't hear it as well. It does not have high and low volume settings. Finally, the light stopped working within 10 minutes of opening it.
