It is even more adorable in person. The animal is plush and very soft! - Perfect for nursery. Animal sits by itself and appears to be well made. Ears are moveable while the limbs and truck are sown in place/stationary - they are also firmly stuffed. I believe the product details said it was machine washable...a plus. It's head has to be as big if not bigger than most newborns ! It's such an adorable item and I will be buying one when I have a young one ! My son isn't here yet, but I wanted it so bad I purchased it now. I believe he's firm enough to stand the test of time, but has a soft velveteen type of feel. The ears stay open and his feet keep him upright and turn in like pigeon toes (again, precious). He's a little smaller than I expected, so I see him being the perfect size for a toddler up to maybe 6 or 7. Great purchase so far and goes great with the bedding set.
