My furry baby was on high doses of steriods due to a illness and these probiotics were recommended by my vet. Yes (0) No (0)Flag as Inappropriate They smell so bad but work so wellthe little individual wrapped squares are like little starbursts from Heck with a rancid smell of aged belly button funk, i had to find somewhere to store them because the smell comes out of the bag i have to half mine since my pup is right at ten pounds so hand washing is a must. He used to do little pellet poops and really strain. Now since his herniated disc injury i didn't want him straining so hard. I needed a chew, not a tablet because one dog is a very finicky 18 year old. She eats these without any trouble.Yes, it contains some sugar, however how else can one make gut germs taste palatable?!
