Firstly, Cosmo pure honey is the most natural energy-boosting supplement. It contains natural glucose, the sole source of energy for cellular activities and cranial nerves. Unlike rice, noodles, and other starchy foods (disaccharide), which require metabolism, all glucose contained in pure honey is reduced sugar (monosaccharide), which can provide energy directly without causing obesity due to sugar deposits.

Thirdly, Cosmo pure honey has effective antibacterial (anti-sepsis), anti-inflammation and tissue regeneration effects. This is because the Glucoamylase found in honey can release hydrogen peroxide. Laboratory findings show that hydrogen peroxide can inhibit bacterial growth and reproduction, as well as promote vascular and connective tissue regeneration and repair injured areas. Honey’s antibacterial and anti-sepsis effects can be shown by its long storage life at room temperature. In addition, the minerals found in pure honey are composed of highly-permeable potassium ions, which can help to close surface skin and inhibit bacterial growth. This is why pure honey’s antibacterial and tissue regeneration effects can be seen by applying honey to mouth sores
for quick healing. Although New Zealand’s Maruka honey claims that it’s enzymes can help preserve stomach health, all high quality and pure honey possesses such a beneficial effect, not just Maruka honey. This is because such a beneficial effect is mainly due to the presence of hydrogen peroxide and potassium ion found in honey.

(a) Flow Test - Tilt the honey bottle up-side-down to see how it flows.
(i) Pure honey - Has a thick flow that will not break immediately and will form a honey droplet after it breaks off.
(ii) Non Pure honey - Breaks off immediately.
(b) Temperature Test - boil the honey.
(i) Pure honey - Bubbles all over the surface with a thick foam.
(ii) Fake honey - Has a thin layer of foam.
(c) Water Test - Dilute the pure honey with water- add pure honey into a bottle that is around 80% full with water. Shake vigorously, allow to settle, and observe.
(i) Pure honey has thick and dense foam on top that lasts for a long time, in addition, the appearance is smudgy (honey that contains other components such as pollen particles and enzymes)
(ii) Fake honey has few bubbles that disappear quickly and the appearance is clear (able to see finger prints on the other side of the bottle)
(d) Crystallized Test - Although honey crystals cannot serve as a basis to determine the purity of honey, the shape of honey crystals can be used to determine whether the honey is pure or not.
(i) Pure honey crystals - Lard-like, thick texture that melts immediately when placed in the palm of the hand.
(ii) Non Pure honey crystals Large, sandy crystal particles that display irregular tree-like shapes.
