The heart and soul of the Tacks 5052 boot is CCM?s new Fiber Reinforced ATTACKFRAME?. Comprised of rigid fiber reinforcements in both the heel and eyelet facing, these attack fibers store and release energy as the player flexes forward; and when combined with CCM?s Formula T5 Core, the result is a responsive boot with explosive speed. The new SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder design provides an additional four millimeters of height (when compared to the older E-Pro holder), which allows for a greater angle of attack and more aggressive turns. Complementing the SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder is CCM?s SpeedBlade Stainless steel runner, which provides a long lasting edge for long term performance. The holders are then riveted to a Vented Fiber Nylon Composite Outsole which helps increase torsional rigidity and maximize energy transfer.
