The Borealis is a hybrid combination of ergonomically placed Primaloft insulation balanced with 310 gram merino wool. Ideal for use with a pack, the Borealis balances thermo regulation with the fast drying, moisture wicking properties of merino, while protecting the core body area with synthetic insulation. Side stretch panels allow for a more comfortable fit and will flex with you as you move. The athletic design contours the body reducing bulk and does not hinder movement. Thumb holes are cut into the sleeves further insuring that the sleeves stay in place underneath your layers. The ultimate in high tech baselayers, this garment is light on weight but heavy on heat retention.When Shadows Are Not Enough Kryptek utilizes a multi-directional design to effectively conceal in a multitude of terrains that have either lateral or vertical flow.
