Our ginger is grown only on Taiwan’s Highland regions using very labor intensive methods to ensure the highest quality.As a result of the process, each batch of ginger (Bamboo or small variant) grown and harvested is very limited in the whole of Taiwan.
As a rule once a batch is harvested, the same soil will only be suitable to grow Ginger again after 7 years.

There are endless possibilities of what you can do with Agreen Ginger Powder. You can use it to make ginger tea, salad dressing, Teh Halia (Ginger Milk Tea) and even adding it to your bath water during confinement. 早先的研究发现,生姜可以减少晕车时及手术后的反胃现象,这次的研究则显示,它对孕妇似乎也有相同的功效。

我们来到绿农所收购台湾本土生姜之产地,炎热的天气与肥沃的土壤正孕育着冬天才能采收的老姜,因为生姜必须通过夏天的严酷考验才能逐渐成长为料理或药用的老姜,「一年只能收获一次,一块土地每7年才能栽种生姜,栽种管理的过程既耗时又费工,而且必须不断的找新的土地使用。 」如此充份吸取了土壤养份的老姜,难怪自古以来就已被广泛地使用于药材与食材。

由于生姜的汁液带有甜味,很容易招来各式各样的虫害,加上遇上土壤积水容易腐败,生长期间又要给予充足的水份,所以在栽种时必须给予无微不至的照应,顶级优质生姜才能应孕而生。其实台湾本土姜的产量不多,因其外型不如市面上所贩售的姜母(大姜)肥大且饱满。
但它的姜辣与香味可是市面上姜母所远远不及的,也因此不但是婆婆妈妈们的首选,更是姜母鸭、羊肉炉、坐月子中心等所必备之食材。
