This exquistely carved buckle features a bear in the center with woods, mountains and a river in the background. On the back are the words, "The grizzly bear is a massive animal, native for western North America. Large numbers of these great beasts once roamed the Western states, but only a few hundred animals live in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. More live in Alaska and western Canada. Grizzly bears may grow up to eight feet long and weight up to 850 pounds." This buckle is carved of fully cast metal with a standard bale that fits up to 2" belts. Siskiyou's unique buckle designs often become collectors items and are unequaled with the best craftsmanship. Buckle is enhanced with sparkly blue, green, brown and blue green enamel.
