Capture all your action footage in high-definition 1440p at 30 fps with the VIRB XE from Garmin. The VIRB XE shoots at a range of resolutions and framerates from 480p240 to 1440p30. It can capture wide-angle 12 MP photos at up to 30 fps; additionally, it can also snap stills while recording video or be configured for interval shooting. To help keep your shots steady, the VIRB XE uses integrated motion sensors and electronic image stabilization to reduce camera shake and blur when you are traversing tough terrain.

To go beyond mere video capture, the VIRB XE features G-Metric technology, which enables you to capture not only the moment but also your performance data, environmental readings, and more. Overlay G-Metric data over your video to showcase speed, acceleration, temperature, heart rate, and more. 

For remote monitoring and operation, the camera is equipped with Wi-Fi, ANT+, and Bluetooth connectivity, letting you pair it with compatible mobile devices or the separately available VIRB Remote. Engineered to be rugged, the VIRB XE is designed to be waterproof up to 164' without an additional dive case or protector. In addition to the bundled flat and adhesive mounts, the camera is also adaptable to—and compatible with—a range of separately available mounts.

High-Quality Photography
The VIRB XE comes equipped with a dedicated photo button and the ability to shoot wide-angle 12MP photos at speeds up to 10 fps. You can also capture photos while recording video. Additionally, the VIRB XE can be set to automatically capture photos over long periods of time at customizable intervals up to 120 seconds.
G-Metrix
Capture more than just video of the moment with G-Metrix. VIRB XE is equipped with integrated Garmin GPS, G-force, orientation sensors, and the ability to wirelessly connect to external sensors and Garmin devices to capture more performance data. Track and overlay gauges, charts, and other graphics to showcase your speed, acceleration, heart rate, and more in real time.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
Connect one or more VIRB XE cameras to the Garmin VIRB Mobile App on your compatible smartphone or tablet. This feature allows you to line up your shot with live video preview, control multiple cameras, edit recorded footage, overlay G-Metrix data, and push your videos to the cloud. Additionally, the VIRB XE can be controlled, configured, and viewed from a compatible Garmin device.
Dive Ready
VIRB XE can dive up to 164' without needing additional equipment or cases. Thanks to its hydrophobic, flat glass lens, underwater shots remain clear and transitions stay unobstructed by droplets.
Remote Control
Leverage the Garmin product ecosystem to monitor and control your VIRB XE with compatible devices, such as the optional VIRB remote, smart devices, portable navigation devices, wearables, chartplotters, aviation flight decks, and other VIRB cameras.
Bluetooth-Enabled HD Audio
VIRB XE can connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled headsets or microphones for capturing high-definition audio in high definition.
Multi-Camera Synchronization
VIRB XE automatically synchronizes footage with sub-frame accuracy using GPS timestamps. Use the VIRB Edit desktop application to switch between multiple camera angles with the click of a button. This switching can eliminate time-consuming realignment and time codes.
One-Touch Recording
VIRB XE features a 1-touch record switch on the top of the camera and a dedicated shutter button for still photos in the same place. The solid click of the switch makes it easy to know that you are recording, even when you are wearing gloves. The camera begins recording the moment you flip the switch, whether the camera is on or off.
Weatherproof Power Contacts
For long periods of uninterrupted recording, the VIRB XE is equipped with weatherproof power contacts, enabling you to connect the VIRB to a vehicle battery or other power source.
VIRB Tracking
VIRB Tracking lets you know the last known position of your camera so you can return and retrieve it. Use the VIRB Tracking function with a compatible Garmin device or compatible smartphone.
VIRB Edit
Use Garmin's free desktop software VIRB Edit to generate ready-to-share videos of your experiences. Choose manual controls to review and edit your footage, adjust G-Metrix gauges, add music, and switch between camera angles.
Mounts
The VIRB XE includes flat and curved mounts that let you firmly lock the camera in position. From curved, flat deck, and dash mounts to handlebar, seatpost, helmet, chest, and multi-use strap mounts, VIRB XE has you covered. All VIRB mounts feature non-slip Allen head tightening, designed to allow for maximum torque and be vibration and impact resistant.
