We hand made the drilled rod.


You can fasten this fire starter toggle to your gear, clothing, keychains, bracelets etc.




Please be aware of that Magnesium is easily oxidised. So the rod maybe not good looking when you receive it.


It is covered with a grey colored magnesia veneer. This veneer is easy to scrape off in 1 or 2 scrapes to expose a shiny metal surface.

Scrape off some shavings from the magnesium part, then scrape the ferrocerium rod.

Throw the sparks to the magnesium shavings to start a fire.
