Description: Sutchi fillet is a white fillet (skinless and boneless) of fresh water fish. It can be steamed, breaded, pan-fried, grill or baked for consumption. The texture is smooth and can be readily consumed by people of all ages. Thaw in room temperature for 20 -30 minutes before usage.

Ken Ken Sutchi is processed under hygienic and stringent quality control in Ken Ken factory.

Recipe: Steamed Sutchi Fillets in Light Soy Sauce and Garlic

Ingredient for Sutchi fish

3 Sutchi Fish Fillets , sliced in serving pieces
Salt and Pepper for improved taste

1 tsp of sliced ginger strips

2 tsps of cooking wine

Rub fillets with salt and pepper and put them in the steamer. Drizzle cooking wine and place the ginger strips on top of the fish. Steam for 10 to 15 minutes then set aside.

Ingredient for the sauce

1/4 cup light soy sauce
2 cups of water
1 tsp grated ginger
3 tsps sugar
1 tsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp of sesame oil to taste

Put all ingredients together in a saucepan, mix well and simmer to boil.

Ingredient for garnish

1 1/2 bulb of garlic, chopped finely

½ cup chopped spring onion

Fry the garlic in cooking oil until turn golden brown then set aside,

Place the steamed fillets onto a serving platter and pour the sauce and garnish over the fish.
