The black Galaxy J1 Mini Prime Duos Smartphone offers quality performance and dual-SIM capability. The J1 Mini Prime is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and features 1GB of RAM for multi-tasking. This model includes 8GB of data storage and features a microSDXC slot that supports memory cards up to 256GB for added storage capacity. The J1 Mini Prime's micro-USB 2.0 interface allows you to connect the device for mass-storage purposes and also serves as a charging port.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime houses a 4.0" TFT capacitive touchscreen with a native resolution of 800 x 480. For photo capturing and video chatting, this smartphone features a VGA selfie camera and 5 megapixel rear camera. The rear camera has an LED flash for capturing images in low-light situations and can shoot video in 720p.

High-speed Internet access is enabled by the smartphone's integrated 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. Bluetooth 4.0 is also built-in for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Built-in GPS allows you to utilize Google location and maps services, as well as receive turn-by-turn directions. The Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Prime has a removable 1500mAh battery that can deliver hours of usage time and can be easily swapped out.

GSM / 3.5G HSPA+ Wireless Connectivity
This phone is designed to work on select GSM networks and is 3.5G HSPA+ capable. HSPA+ is a cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds much faster than standard 3G; in some cases, HSPA+ comes close to 4G LTE speeds, but is more widely available than LTE because it uses 3G networks. With an HSPA+ connection, this phone should have no problem streaming video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high speed data connection. The phone is also backward compatible with 2G data networks for instances when you can't get an HSPA+ signal. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

International Variant / International Compatible 3.5G
The SM-J106B is an international variant of the Galaxy J1 Mini Prime Duos. The SM-J106B's 3.5G radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used outside of North America. It can still be used in the Americas; however, 3.5G access may be limited or unsupported, depending on the network. Please note that the SM-J106B does not support popular 3.5G bands used in the United States. To ensure this phone will work with your carrier please check to make sure the frequencies your carrier uses are supported by this phone. Because the SM-J106B is an international variant the language of the box and the default language of the phone may not be in English. Also an international AC to USB adapter may be included.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS)
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) allows you to lower your mobile costs when traveling while staying connected. Once your SIM cards are installed, you will be able to receive phone calls and text messages from either without needing to manually choose which one is active. When you want to make a call or send an SMS message, you can select the correct SIM card. When one SIM card is being used for a phone call, the other will not be active until you hang up. Operator charges may apply.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 6.0 Marshmallow overhauls permissions, allowing you to have finer control over what your applications have access to. It also marks the debut of Now on Tap, a context-sensitive update to Google Now that checks your current screen for keywords and then searches for them automatically. Other performance and security enhancements are included as well.
