I have Plantar Fasciitis and this shoe has the perfect amount of arch support for me. Not a ton of padding on the foot bed, but the arch support makes up for it. Very comfortable. Normally I wear an 8 1/2 wide or a 9 regular. I had to go with a 9 1/2 so it runs small.
