The Metal Earth models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4 inch square metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces using wire cutters and follow the included easy- to-follow instructions included to assemble your model. It was a two part spacecraft used to carry a crew of two from lunar orbit to the surface of the moon and back. The descent stage served as the launch pad for the ascent stage plus it housed the landing gear, engines and fuel needed for landing. Six such craft successfully landed on the Moon between 1969 and 1972. This tool kit includes a clipper, flat nose pliers and needle nose pliers and is ideally suited for building Metal Earth models. These premium tools are drop-forged and heat-treated carbon steel with a rubber handle, for the ultimate in long life quality.
