DURABLE CONSTRUCTION. A hard， plastic housing protects the internal， automatic， high speed， rewind system and brake system， while the carbon steel blade is rust-resistant to withstand wet weather and provide long-lasting use for years to come.
DIGITAL LCD DISPLAY. Clear and easy to read， the large digital display gives measurements in feet/inches with 16ths， inches with 16ths， inches with 10ths (one decimal place)， and centimeters with tenths (one decimal place). You can set it to use at a zero start to measure from where the tape exits the housing or with a 3" offset to measure from the back of the housing.
UNIT CONVERTER (IMPERIAL/METRIC). Depending on your preference or the type of job you’re doing， you can easily switch between imperial and metric systems with a simple touch of a button.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS. The hold function is used to keep the measurement taken on the display when retracting the blade， while the memory function serves to retain this measurement even when the unit is powered off. This tool will conveniently hold up to 8 measurements in its memory storage that can be used for either long- or short-term use.
COMPLETE PACKAGE. The measuring tape comes complete with a heavy-duty belt clip and wrist strap for easy storage and handling. In addition， a standard CR2032 3V lithium battery is included， boasting an approximate lifetime of one year. An automatic shutoff feature after 6 minutes of inactivity will preserve the life of the battery.
