B-complex vitamins are generally readily absorbed. However, because they are water soluble and not stored in the body, they are lost extremely easily through secretion. For this reason, they must be supplied throughout the day, every day. When obtained from food, vitamins are gradually released over several hours as food is digested. This specialized capsule formulation provides a high-potency, therapeutic dose in a form which mimics the slow, natural utilization of nutrients from the food. Tiny sugar-free beadlets are coated with alternating layers of nutrients and a controlled-release solution. The coated beadlets are then encapsulated. As the capsule dissolves in the stomach, the beadlets are dispersed, and the nutrients are released one layer at a time from each beadlet.
