Activated Clay is a natural occurring porous mineral which has been dried to produce an adsorbent material. It is a low-cost, efficient desiccant which will protect the contents of a properly sealed container until it is opened. Activated clay retains its sturcture as it becomes saturated, and can be easily re-activated for re-use by heating. It is chemically inert and non-toxic, which makes it safe to handle and can be easily disposed of. Activated clay is most commonly used in sachet form in a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, medical, diagnostics, food, confectionary and electronics.
