Chinese Lantern is solanaceae physalis perennial root herb， and often
cultivated for annual. It has strong adaptability， heat and cold
resistant， likes cool and moist climate， also likes sunshine.
Not strictly to soil， especially the seeds originally from Asia can grow
normally in 3-42 ℃ temperature range.

How to grow
Seedling in early spring in the greenhouse， also can direct seeding in outdoor，
covering soil about 0.3 cm， 12 to 15 days of emergence. Not strictly to soil conditions.
The seeding can blossom in the same year， and it will
blossom in the second year if sowing in autumn.
Can grow continuously four to five years.

Seeding method: each pit sowing 1 to 3 pieces，
7 to 14 days need for germination under 15 ~ 22 degrees. After
sowing with vermiculite or medium coverage.
Keep medium slightly moist， but avoid excessive moisture.

Transplantation: you can process
field planting after 4 to 6 weeks of seeding.
The container in 10 to 15cm can plant 1 piece， large container can plant 2 to 3 pieces.

Lighting: long period daylight plants. long period daylight will promote bloom.

Fertilization:
Adding slow-release fertilizer in the cultivation medium， and then
fertilizing medium concentration liquid fertilizer once a week. After
the middle of September to stop fertilization.

Plant main point:
keep the soil is a bit dry， but can not lack of water. Plants will form
the underground tubers， and the plants will sprout from the tuber in
next year.
