This is a refurbished item

What is refurbishing?
Retailers filter through defective items to ensure what goes back to the manufacturer can be restored to a good-as-new condition. All defective items are shipped back to a central processing point for technical identification and sorting. Each item is checked thoroughly to see if they can be saved and if so, they are repaired and new parts are added if needed to replace old ones. The item is cleaned, repackaged and shipped back to the retailer, with a “factory refurbished” label on it, allowing people to distinguish it from a brand-new item.

Refurbished vs. brand-new
Refurbished devices often sport the same features and quality as new ones. These are often immediate returns, which are tested to ensure that they are in working order before they are sent back to the retailer to be sold. Refurbished does not mean that it is used or defective, but when you shop for a refurbished device, always compare it to new, reconditioned and recertified devices with like features to make sure that you get the features you need.

Why buy refurbished products?
1. Refurbished products are less expensive and prices can be as low as 80 percent below retail.
2. Purchasing refurbished products is beneficial to the environment as you prevent it from ending up in a landfill, thereby reducing electronic waste that contains toxic materials like cadmium and mercury.
3. More often than not, refurbished and recertified products offer the most benefits as they have been returned to the manufacturer for repair and further testing. If the device performs properly after testing, it is certified as good as new and returned to the market for sale.
4. Some refurbished electronics may come with same-as-new warranties. Understand whether the product is truly a refurbished electronic, and check the warranty carefully.

Apple iPhone 4

Apple led the smartphone invasion when they introduced their first iPhone, revolutionising the way people go on about their daily lives with their mobile phones. Nowadays, a touchscreen smartphone has become a must have for everyone, and it's no surprise that Apple has remained one of the top (if not the top) go-to brand for a smartphone. And with every new iPhone release, Apple has continued to dominate the smartphone market.

Apple gave the iPhone 4 a design overhaul from the previous 3GS version. The new model is only 0.37 inches thin, compared to its predecessor which is 0.48 inches. There is no plastic on the exterior of the iPhone 4, and the standard silver bezel that was the trim to all previous iPhones is now gone. When you first look at the display on the iPhone 4, it is simply gorgeous. This is without a doubt one of the best improvements on the new model. The new screen resolution is 960 x 640, up from 480 x 320 on all previous iPhones and iPod touches. On the front of the Apple iPhone 4 you have the standard "Home" button, along with the proximity and ambient light sensor, and the biggest change, a VGA front-facing camera.

Features:
FaceTime video calling.

With a tap, you can make video calls from your iPhone 4 to another FaceTime-enabled iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac over Wi-Fi.

3.5-inch Retina display.

Everything you see and do on iPhone 4 looks amazing. That's because the Retina display's pixel density is so high, your eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels.

5MP iSight camera with HD video recording

The 5-megapixel iSight camera built into iPhone 4 captures amazingly detailed images. And you can shoot video in high definition.
