The Bandit VXL comes with more power than ever before. New Traxxas Stability Management allows arrow-straight acceleration on slippery surfaces, without fishtailing, spinouts, or loss of control. TSM also makes high speed cornering corrections in the background for you, without unexpected side effects. The Bandit VXL is a lightweight speed machine that's fast on pavement and brutal off-road. The Velineon 3500 brushless motor balances horsepower and efficiency. The VXL-3s ESC works with the 3500 motor for smooth starts and precise control and its brushless design reduces wear and friction. The VXL-3s ESC offers three profiles: Sport, Race, and Training Mode. Training Mode allows the Bandit VXL's performance to be tailored for drivers of any experience. Velineon accepts 8.4v NiMH batteries all the way up to 11.1v LiPo packs for intense, skill level 5 speeds beyond 70mph! Built-in low-voltage detection helps maintain your LiPo battery packs. The Traxxas TQi transmitter stores settings for up to 30 Traxxas Link enabled vehicles. Settings include steering and throttle end points, Steering Sensitivity (Expo), Throttle Sensitivity (Expo), Steering Percentage (Dual Rate), Braking Percentage (Dual Rate), or Throttle Trim. TQi can be equipped with a Traxxas Link Wireless Module (#6511, sold separately) that turns your Android device, iPad iPhone or iPod touch (sold separately) into a powerful tuning tool. Traxxas Link also opens the door to telemetry capability with optional sensors. A 4-amp 12-volt DC fast charger is included to minimize down time. Peak-detection circuitry makes sure the battery receives a full charge every time. Bandit VXL also includes a Traxxas iD-equipped Power Cell battery pack optimized for maximum punch. The VXL-3s speed control, high torque 2075 servo, and mini receiver are sealed against the elements giving you the freedom go almost anywhere. The Revo-Spec Torque-Control slipper clutch and steel gear transmission put down power.
