My kiddo has always been fascinated with my cell phone, and this is just perfect for him! It's completely touch screen, so there aren't any buttons to get stuck. He's 9 months old now, but I think it would have been perfect around 4 months (when they sort of start grabbing and hitting things). It has a lot of touch screen sounds & flashing lights. However, for a child over 12 months, it doesn't take them long to realize it is not a "real" tablet and they lose interest fairly quickly. My grandson is 17 months old and is always wanting to play with my laptop, tablet, and android phone. So I thought buying him this tablet would help.
