I should additionally clarify that my acne is hormonal and genetic, so my issue doesn't pertain to hygienics. None the less, this face wash is the only thing thing (other than accutane) that keeps my acne at bay, helps reduce inflammation, and keeps my skin looking and feeling fresh. It does not cure my acne, but for instance, if I change to a Cetaphil face wash, I instantly break out. This is a must have for my skin care regimen!
