Studies have shown that hypericin and related bioactive constituents are concentrated i the flowering buds of St. John''s Wort. We have naturally standardized our harvesting process to retain total hypericins, without compromising other medicinally active constituents. We are careful to select only the buds in consideration of this activity. The flowering buds have NOT been chemically extracted and also supply important supporting compounds, including hyperforin and other flavonoids.
