Royal Jelly has been widely recommended as a nutritional health supplement.

Its main components are sugar , minerals , vitamins and proteins including amino acids. The main acid is 10-hydroxy-decenoic acid, 10HDA. 10-HDA accurs naturally only in royal jelly.

It can increase strength, enhance metabolism and maintain general good health. Research has show that royal jelly is a mild, natural antibiotic.

There are also a number of antioxidant agents found in royal jelly, but specifically, royal jelly shows an ability to inhibit bisphenol A, also known as BPA. What is the Appearance and Consistency of Royal Jelly?

When the worker bees produce Fresh Royal Jelly from the glands in their heads, it has a very light colour ranging from pale cream to pale yellow. Over time, if it is not stored correctly, it will deteriorate and change colour turning to a brownish dark colour. So, if you have bought Royal Jelly that is brown and dark, you will know that it has either not been refrigerated or is very old - either way the product would have lost most of it's nutrition and will be virtually useless.

Serving Recommendations
