• Manuka， as it is called by most New Zealanders， grows wild on New Zealand’s remote “East Cape.” Proper distillation using East Cape Manuka produces this high triketone oil which is the preferred Manuka essential oil chemotype. Manuka oil has an herbaciously sweet honey-like aroma that is in a class by itself.
