I have a relatively tall queen mattress, and the length and width of the comforter are just right to cover the mattress on all sides. I am describing the length by laying the comforter on the bed without pillows, and the head end of the comforter up against the back wall. The comforter does not cover the box spring as the picture could mislead you to believe in this respect unless your mattress is not that deep. If you prefer the boxspring covered then you would need to purchase a bedskirt, but a nice cheap brown bedskirt (or other similar color) would work. Don't expect the softness of hundreds of threadcount in the fabric, and it could be considered slightly rough to the touch. I threw it in the dryer with a couple of fabric softener sheets and the softness improved a little, but it is really just right for me. The picture exactly describes the camo pattern, and matches what I was looking for in a comforter. The two shams were in the package, and could be used for some decorative pillows.
