The GoodPower™ system consists of a tiny plastic holder of just 63mm x 63mm in size (made small to fit into most vehicle models) with a recessed underside to hold a patent-pending ceramic-based active compound. The ceramic-compound is sealed and encased with high-quality aluminum foil, held in position by sturdy double-side industrial-grade adhesive tape.

It is a vehicle retrofit system that is easy to install and ABSOLUTELY NO tampering with your engines, fuel tank or adding contents to your petrol.  You just need to stick it to the inside surface of the fuel filler flap area shown.  For best results, clean the surface of filler flap first to ensure better adhesion of GoodPower™ unit:

When the fuel filler flap is closed, the ceramic-based compound becomes positioned directly over the fuel filler cap. This location enables GoodPower™ to achieve its maximum potential.

Our Patent Pending Technology – How It Works

The petrol in every car contains more than 150 volatile chemicals added to optimise engine performance, including benzene, toluene and sometimes, lead. Unfortunately, these evaporate very quickly - as high as 15%, especially on older cars. Although most modern cars are equipped with evaporative emissions system to trap the evaporating fumes, it is also common fuel to evaporate from the fuel tank if the cap is loose, missing, or damaged. Also, leaks from defective valves, enclosures and fuel systems will still result as the car ages. Even modern cars with advanced Evaporative Emission Control System still experiences evaporation from the tank, especially when the car is parked in the sun. Besides being an environmental hazard, the loss of these chemicals degrade the petrol and car performance gradually suffers.

Hence the design brief for the GoodPower™ engine management system is simply this:

• to effectively reduce evaporative emissions in cars, especially older ones, in order to make the combustion process becomes more complete;
• as the engine performs better, pollution is reduced and fuel efficiency increases;

When installed, the GoodPower™ unit lies directly over the fuel filler cap. The ceramic-based compound within the product starts to ionise the air around the fuel filler cap and begins to absorb heat from the surroundings, causing the molecules to vibrate, thereby creating a high pressure zone around the filler cap (see Figure 3). This “higher pressure” and release of ions creates an atmosphere of “charged” air particles, in particular, negative ions.

At the same time, another source of negatively-charged ions molecules are also being produced from the evaporative emissions emanating from the fuel cap. These two sources of negative ions soon comes into contact and “repels” each other, resulting in the volatile compounds from escaping through the fuel cap. These repelled evaporative emissions will then flow back to the fuel tank and hence not leak into the environment.

GoodPower™ is designed to repel only a certain percentage of the evaporative emissions and does not completely prevent it as it would be extremely dangerous to completely block emissions from escaping through the fuel cap. Doing so would result in high pressure forming within the fuel tank.

Hence this ability to preserve the volatile chemicals within the fuel and not let it be lost through evaporative emissions maximises the full performance benefits of the petrol. This effectively restores performance that was lost due to wear and tear. The result: More mileage, more power and smoother running engine for cars equipped with GoodPower™.

NB: GoodPower™ comes with a 12 months product Performance Warranty for petrol-driven cars. It is not designed for diesel vehicles due to the differing behaviour of volatile compounds in diesel fuel compared to petrol.
