It is not heavy like chopstick and it's not as oily as lip gloss. I think it's more like butter for the lips. NO flavor or scent. I use it every night and I put it on the am before lipstick. MAC at Dillards used to make some similar balm but discontinued it so Burts' Bees ultra conditioning is what I now use.
