The adapter is only half sized but they include an extender so it fits perfectly. They include 4 screws. Two screws go into the end of the extender on to the mother board.
When you screw down the extender it holds the adapter in place. Without the extender the adapter pops up. Put the other two screws in the holes that line up between the adapter and the extender.
Converted msata port into a 7pin SATA port. After connecting second HD to this port it now reads as SATA III 6Gb/s in Intel Rapid Storage.
