DESCRIPTION:
A premium grade, one component, flexible, thin bed, internal wall tile adhesive. It is ready for use directly out of the container.

USES:
Used for the thin bed fixing of all types of ceramic & marble wall tiles.

Used on concrete, cement render, plasterboard and fibre cement wall.

ADVANTAGES:
A flexible adhesive which can accommodate movement in the building boards.

Premixed and can be used directly out of the container.

Being white , Davco Flexible CTA can be used to lay marble and translucent ceramic tiles without the risk of the adhesion colour showing through.

As Davco Flexible CTA is acrylic based, it is non-hazardous.

Davco Flexible CTA surpasses the Australian Standard AS2358-1990.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
All surfaces should be structurally sound, dry, clean and free from movement, oil, grease, wax and other contaminants. Painted surfaces must be scabbled to expose at least 75% of clean surface.

Expansion joints coinciding with joints in the substrate should be incorporated at the design stage at a maximum of 5 metre spacings and must not be tiled over.

MIXING & APPLICATION:
Use a 6mm x 6mm notched trowel for the installation of the flat backed tiles up to 150mm x 150mm.

For the installation of wall tiles larger than 150mm x 150mm, or tiles with ribs, use a 10mm x 10mm notched trowel.

Using the appropriate notched trowel, spread approximately 0.5m sq of Davco Flexible CTA at a time.

Press tiles firmly into position before the adhesive skins. Ensure that the tiles are well bedded and that no voids occur under the tiles.

Tiles with lugs and grooves must be butter coated before bedding in adhesive.

GROUTING:
Grouting should not be carried out for at least 24 hours after completion of tiling.

For grout joints above 4mm wide, use Davco Sanitized® Colorfiller 80.

To increase water resistance, flexibility and enhance the colour of the grout, use Davco 4 in 1 Primerflex/Additive instead of water.

COVERAGE:
One litre of Davco Flexible CTA covers approximately 1m sq per 1mm thickness

CLEANING:
Remove any excess adhesive from the face of the tiles with a damp cloth while the adhesive is still wet.

Tools and other equipment can be cleaned with warm water before the adhesive sets.

SHELF LIFE:
Shelf life of up to 12 months in unopened container when stored in a cool dry place.

HEALTH & SAFETY:
Do not use Davco Flexible CTA in temperatures above 40°C and below 5°C.

Davco Flexible CTA is not suitable for use in shower floors, swimming pools etc.

Davco Flexible CTA is classified as a non-hazardous product.

Use only on porous tiles or porous substrate.
