The recent addition of the plastic “no drip filter” has made this product useless and more dangerous. The diameter of the cone shaped bottom has been reduced by at least 60% resulting in a glogged funnel before wax has a chance to becompletely removed from your ear. My ear is now more blocked than it was before I used this candle. I do not recommend this product. Was this review helpful? Yes (1) No (2)Flag as Inappropriate regular buyer-love these!I love these and feel much "cleaner" once I use them. Watch videos, many of them prior to doing it. Keep your head to the side. Clip the ashes as you go, and drop into a bowl of water. Have a plate with hole in middle and put candle in middle so that your face and hair is protected from fallen ashes and flame. Insert the candle in ear. You may hear something or a hollowness, similar to when you put a shell to your ear. Then remove the candle once it gets low, like a cigar. Cut it and then slice it. The hard yellow is YOUR wax. NOT the white powder. The white powder is the filter, the filter is there to protect your ear and to help get wax out. Presto! Love this product! Yes (39) No (1)Flag as Inappropriate This actually works.This product is easy to use. I was suprised at how much wax buildup appeared when the candle was done. There is no discomfort. You feel very slight suction and it sounds like very light static in your ear. You start feeling that about 1/4 into the candle burning. At the end it was gross! Now my wax is gone. We just put aluminum foil on a paper plate and poked a hole in the middle to stick the candle in. I layed down on my side and watched tv until it was almost to the bottom and someone blew it out.The con of this product is there are no instructions in or on the box. Obviously you can't do this with out another person to watch the flame. The price on these could be a couple bucks lower, but the product works. Was this review helpful?
