Product Description
This round base rare-earth neodymium (NdFeB) cup magnet is made with A3 steel plate and coated with Nickel-Copper-Nickel to be the strongest type of permanent magnet available.
The countersunk hole allows many types of mounting applications including hook, knob, or eyebolt. Screw it into a wall to hold tools, or position and hold lights, signs, and more. This type of magnet is also perfect for magnet fishing and retrieving applications.
Please note that holding power of 242 lbs is tested on unpainted horizontal ½'' steel plate. Mounting on a vertical or painted surface will reduce holding power by up to 70%. Specifications:
Dimensions: 2.36'' x .59''

Children should not be allowed to handle or play with rare-earth magnets. Rare-Earth magnets are fragile and can break easily. These magnets are powerful and can accelerate at high speeds toward each other and toward ferrous material. When these magnets come together quickly, they can shatter and break sending particles at speed. These magnets can also pinch strongly if allowed to come together against the skin. You should always wear gloves and eye protection when handling large magnets.
