They play at the table for quite a long time without asking for help. (major pro) I thought they might be too young, but they have done so well with it, even my 2yo. They built it per instructions first with their dad... and now they build the craziest stuff. I'd have to say the car parts are the most desired of all the pieces, so they do sometimes fight over those, and my 2yo lost one of the tires (Destructo). Good on Lego for letting you buy spare parts! (pro) I'm dying to buy them all the big fancy sets! (but I also have to put them thru college). I will probably get more small City sets first, and regular blocks; the small Wheels and Windows sets too. Lego is great for a)following the instructions and b)also making your own creative stuff. not really a CON, but I wish the sets came in their own reusable storage box, like the Creator stuff. At the very least it would provide a safe place to store instructions. ~and, can you download replacement instructions?
